Hang it Up:: The idea of a coat rack was conceived for a competition by a local furniture retailer. As their philosophy is based on the idea of enhancing one's lifestyle by adding an element of fun to the objects that create our environment, the objective was to generate an idea for the home that aligns with that philosophy.
Hang it Up:: This design brings an otherwise ordinary wall to life with its playful and sculptural shape. Mounted directly to the wall in any direction, Hang it Up calls for interaction by allowing the user to pop the hook in and out simply with a press.
The design of Hang it Up incorporates the use of brushed metal for the backing, wood and anodized aluminum for the hooks. Different colored woods and metals can be combined to suit the decor of any room.
